War crimes... By Sohail

Amnesty International has just released a report on US drones strikes in Pakistan titled, 'Will I be next?' The report is based upon field research from January 2012 to August 2013 and is a representation of the cost, in human terms, of the war on terror. The report comes to the conclusion that the US has caused large-scale destruction of life and worth in the country, terming some of the drone strikes as being akin to "war crimes". These are heavy sentiments indeed and should not be taken lightly, by the people or by the government. If the report can say all this, is it asking too much for our politicians to publicly denounce the attacks in such fierce terms as well?
