MIRANSHAH: A US drone strike on Saturday killed at least four terrorists in the country's tribal region near the Afghan border, security officials said. The strike took place in the DattaKhel area of North Waziristan Agency (NWA). The drone targeted a moving vehicle and fired two missiles, officials added. "The identity of the militants was immediately unclear but this area is mostly occupied by members of the militant commander Gul Bahadur's group," a security official in Peshawar said. Another official in Miranshah said that the vehicle was going through a village 35 kilometres west of Miranshah, the headquarters of NWA. The latest attack came despite Pakistani demands to halt the missile strikes. It is also pertinent to mention that it came at a time when Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar was visiting Washington to discuss a range of issues. End.
