US drone strike kills 10 in North Waziristan

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: At least ten people were killed in drone attack in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.
Intelligence officials say a suspected U.S. drone fired two missiles that killed 10 people in northwest Pakistan near the Afghan border.
The two officials say Thursday s attack took place in Khassokhel village near Mir Ali in the North Waziristan tribal area. It was the second such attack in 24 hours in the region.
They officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.
Drone strikes have become an increasingly contentious issue between the U.S. and Pakistan.
The parliament recently demanded the U.S. end all drone strikes on its territory, whereas, the U.S. has shown no intention of stopping the covert CIA program.
