UNAMA chopper makes hard landing

KABUL: A helicopter of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Afghanistan (UNAMA) made a hard landing in Bamiyan province of Afghanistan on Sunday.

Reliable sources in Kabul told the Afghan Islamic Press (AIP) the UNAMA helicopter, on its way from Daikundi district to Bamiyan, made a forced landing between the Bamiyan city and Yakawlung district.

The helicopter suffered damage in the incident, the sources said while expressing ignorance about casualties.

The officials and UNAMA have not said anything in this regard till filling of this report.
