Two more killed in Balochistan violence

QUETTA: As many as two people, including a security personnel, were killed in separate incidents of violence in Balochistan on Wednesday.

According to details, a security convoy was on a routine patrolling in Bhalwal Basti of Chamalang when a landmine went off after one of the officials stepped on it.

Resultantly, security official identified as Abdul Ghaffar succumbed to his injuries on the spot while another official Umar Aziz was critically injured. Separately, unidentified armed men gunned down a person identified as Muhammad Ali Qambrani in the Pirangabad area of District Mastung.

Balochistan Levies personnel shifted the body to the Civil Hospital Mastung.
