Two more bodies found in Gayari

RAWALPINDI: Two more bodies of soldiers buried under an avalanche in Gayari Sector have been recovered on the 176th day of the operation.

Around 140 soldiers and civilians had been buried under an avalanche on April 7 and since then an operation is underway to recover their bodies. The rescue teams have found 83 bodies so far. The bodies have been shifted to Goma Hospital, however, the officials could not identify them as they had been decomposed.

A team of around 300 soldiers and 50 engineering plants are deployed in the area in the harsh weather conditions.
