LAHORE: Law enforcement agencies captured two more terror suspects from the Manga Mandi area on the information of an arrested terror suspect ‘directly’ linked with the Islamic State (Daesh) and shifted them to an unidentified location for interrogation on Friday.

One of the agencies engaged in the operation showed that the officials, who had taken Commander Yousaf into custody from the Shahdara area a couple of days ago along with his accomplices, Qari Tayyab and Dr Fahad, arrested his two more accomplices following information provided by him.

The raids are being conducted across the city by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) police to track down the suspects associated with Daesh, Afghans and members of banned outfits.

A police source said at least five terror suspects, who were involved in various tasks to promote Daesh and hire people for it, were under interrogation. He said hate literature, CDs and other material had been seized from the Daesh people and hundreds of others, belonging to an ethnic community from KP, and Afghans.
