Twin blasts create panic in Multan

MULTAN: Two blasts occurred at Nag Shah Chowk on Saturday creating panic among people. However, no loss of life and property was reported.

According to Bomb Disposal Squad in-charge Maqsood, two bombs packed in polythene bags were placed in a dumping site owned by a shopkeeper, Muhammad Arshad. There was a five-minute interval between the two blasts.

According to the official, one and one and half kg of explosives were used in the blasts. A remote-controlled device was used for explosions, said Maqsood.

According to Cantt SP Mansoor, police have cordoned off the area and started investigation.
