JALALABAD: (AIP): A clash took place between Afghan security forces and Taliban in Hisarak district in Nangarhar province on Sunday.

A statement issued by the Nangarhar press office said the armed opponents attacked security checkposts in Jokan area in Hisarak district.

The deputy district governor designated by the armed opponents identified as Maulvi Gulzar and two commanders Qari Shakoor and Qari Hussain were among 20 armed opponents killed and several more injured in the gunfight.
