Treason trial: Special court summons Musharraf on Dec 24

ISLAMABAD: The special court has summoned former President Pervez Musharraf on December 24 in a high treason case initiated against him on the request of federal government.
According to Media Reports, the trial against Musharraf will be held in the Supreme Court's national library.
Special court has summoned former President Pervez Musharraf on 24th of this month in the high treason case.
The court at its maiden meeting on Friday accepted the complaint registered against Pervez Musharraf by the federal government.
The special court has also issued summons for advocate Akram Sheikh after admitting complaints filed by the federation.
A session of the special court, formed by the then Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on request of federal government to try former President Musharraf for high treason began in Islamabad on Friday.
The three-member judge bench of the special court, headed by Justice Faisal Arbab reviewed the charge sheet filed by the federation against Musharraf.
