Three school teachers shot dead in Hangu

Hangu: Unidentified gunmen shot three schoolteachers dead during attack on school in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.

Local police said that unknown militants opened fire on local school at Kach Banda area of Hangu. Three teachers dead on spot, police said adding miscreant succeed in escaping from the scene. Taliban militants have been targeting schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tribal areas of the country as they believe education is prohibited in Islam. TTP said they have halted attacks during dialogue process with Pakistani government but terrorists attacks taking place in KPK frequently.
