Three missing Baloch found dead in Quetta

QUETTA: Another three bodies of Baloch missing persons were found in the Ferozabad and Pashtoonabad areas on Monday.

The relatives of the three missing persons had recently appeared before the Supreme Court and recorded their statements regarding their alleged abduction.

According to Sariab Superintendent of Police Sikandar Tareen, a police patrol vehicle spotted three bodies packed in gunny bags. The bodies were shifted to the Bolan Hospital. The bodies were identified as that of two brothers, Muhammad Khan Marri and Muhammad Nabi Marri.

The deceased were residents of Sariab. Their cousin, Rehman, identified the bodies. The third body was identified as that of Mehran Khan Kiyazai, a resident of Brewery Road. Mehran's body was identified by his father. According to doctors, the victims were strangled.

"All three bodies had rope marks around their necks, which indicated that they were strangled," hospital sources said, adding that the deceased were aged between 25 and 30. Voice for Baloch Missing Persons' Chairman Nasrullah Baloch told our sources that the deceased were on the missing persons' list and were kidnapped in April from Zarghoon Road.

"Their relatives recorded statements before the Supreme Court and a footage was also shown by police," Baloch said. He said further as many as 407 bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons had been found so far.

Separately, another body was found in Pashtoonabad. According to police, some passersby spotted the body and informed them. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the Civil Hospital. The body was identified as that of Habibullah.
