Three dead in cylinder explosion

FAISALABAD: At least three people were killed when a cylinder exploded in a passenger van in Tandlanwala area near Faisalabad, officials said on Monday.

According to rescue officials, the incident occurred after the cylinder suddenly caught fire and exploded. Three people were dead on the spot while six others received burn injuries in the incident, officials added.

Rescue 1122 and police rushed to the scene soon after the incident. Bodies and injured were shifted to Allied Hospital in the city.
