Three cops arrested for killing citizen

KARACHI: Three police officers on Friday were arrested after they allegedly killed a citizen, who was earlier thought to be a dacoit. According to details, three policemen of Sohrab Goth police station, who were patrolling the area near sacrificial animal market, opened fire on a car when it did not stop despite a signal given by the policemen. A man was killed in the car as a result of the firing, which the policemen claimed was a dacoit. However, later it was confirmed that the man was an ordinary citizen upon which a case was registered against the three police officers and they were subsequently arrested. End.
