Three ANA solders killed, two injured

KABUL: Three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed and two more injured in separate IED strikes in various parts of the country, the Ministry of Defence said Sunday.

A defence ministry press release available with the Afghan Islamic Press (AIP) stated the ANA troops suffered casualties in IED strikes in Wardak, Helmand, Paktika and Ghazni provinces over the past 24 hours.

The security forces held two armed opponents in Ghazni province and arrested 22 more suspects in various parts of the country over the past 24 hours, the press release added.

The Taliban have not said anything in this regard till filling of this report.
