The dollar sinks... By Shaista

13 February, 2013

The dollar has reached the dreaded Rs 100 mark. Our hopes have been dashed and our lives are about to get much harder. Now that there seems to be no end to the downward spiral of the Pakistani rupee, we can look forward to more backbreaking costs, inflation and rising food and basic necessity prices.

Too many people are already living a life of complete despair without any hope for betterment. With the present dispensation doing absolutely nothing for the masses and Pakistan's currency suffering from a nosedive, is it any wonder that people with a fraction of talent and expertise are trying to get out? What is the government going to do about this mess?
