Taliban IED attack coordinator captured

KABUL: A Taliban improvised explosive device attack coordinator was captured in operation carried out by the Afghan forces and the NATO-led coalition troops in the country's northern province of Kunduz, the coalition forces said. "An Afghan and coalition security force arrested a Taliban improvised explosive device (IED) attack coordinator in Khanabad district, Kunduz province, Friday," the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a press release. The captured man planned and executed IED attacks throughout Khanabad in the province 250 km north of Kabul, it said. End.
