Solving our own problems... By Shaishta

20 January, 2014

It is scary to admit that we are now living in the throes of a society that feeds on hate. We are seeing a rise in not just crime but savage sectarianism also. Just the other day, a prominent member of the Shia community was gunned down in Lahore. We hear of such cases almost every day but we see the authorities do little to control the situation. What are they waiting for? Is it that they think all of society's problems will end if the people just kill each other off? Maybe they are waiting for that.
