Six more fall prey to Balochistan violence

QUETTA: As many as six people were killed and five others sustained injuries in three different firing incidents in Balochistan on Tuesday. According to Levies officials, unidentified armed men fired indiscriminately at two tankers carrying LPG, in Shiehkwasil area, some 60 kilometres from Quetta. Three people were killed and another was injured in the firing. Levies personnel shifted the dead and injured to Quetta. "The deceased and injured were residents of Punjab," Levies officials said. In another incident, two people were killed and another was wounded in Pishin. Levies sources said that a vehicle was passing through Pishin Bypass area when armed men opened fire on the vehicle with sophisticated weapons. One man died on the spot and two others sustained serious wounds. Local administration has registered a case and has opened an investigation into the incident. In another incident, Levies force said a man was shot dead by bikers while he was on his way home on his motorbike. End.
