Six dead in Sahiwal road accident

SAHIWAL: At least six persons died while 44 sustained severe injuries in a collision between bus and truck on Tuesday. Out of the 44 injured, 9 were in critical condition.

According to reports, a bus registered with Al Madina Company bearing registration number T-1179 was heading to Sialkot from Hasilpur route. The bus hit a trailer while it was overtaking it. Six persons died on the spot while 44 sustained severe injuries.

Upon receiving information, the rescue 1122 teams reached the scene and rushed the injured passengers to the District Headquarters hospital at Sahiwal for medical aid. Police have registered a case and have started through investigation.
