ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Shireen Mazari on Saturday accused Pakistan demanded the arrest of Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Sanaullah onnthe Faisalabad firing incident.

Addressing a press conference, Mazari presented footage and pictures pertaining to the firing incident and alleged that "N-leaguers" had been telling lies time and again. She said the plan to sabotage PTI's peaceful strike in Faisalabad was prepared in Circuit House, where the "son-in-law of Sanaullah was also present". She said the local leadership of the PML-N held consultations before the protest in Faisalabad. "Rana Sanaullah keeps lying instead of bringing the culprits to justice," she alleged. She further stated that the footage of a PTI worker's killing was broadcast on the media, but the identified shooter had not yet been taken into custody.

The PTI spokesperson accused the police of silently watching the N-leaguers staging chaos. She accused Sanaullah of being connected to the Raymond Davis' freedom, adding that Sanaullah also had connections with banned outfits. Mazari also accused Pervaiz Jutt, who she said was a close aide of Sanaullah, of his involvement in the Faisalabad riots.
