WANA: At least nine tribesmen were injured on Thursday in a rocket attack from across the border in Afghanistan on Pakistan's Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan Agency, official and tribal sources said.
The sources said over a dozen rockets and mortars were fired from Afghanistan and landed in a residential area of Angoor Adda, a border area between Afghanistan's Paktika province and Pakistan's South Waziristan Agency.
The injured tribesmen were taken to Wana, the headquarters of South Waziristan, and admitted to the Agency Headquarters Hospital. The doctors said three of the injured tribesmen were in critical condition.
