Sharjeel lashes out at Naheed Khan

06 March, 2013

KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Deputy Information Secretary and Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has said that Naheed Khan was living up to her character, and her latest move to approach the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for registration of PPP as political party in her name is like stabbing it at the back, adding that she would be doomed politically like those who earlier betrayed the party and its ideology.

He said that she had hurt the soul of the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and would not bear fruit in her endeavours, and she would remain politically sterile like others who had fallen out of the fold of the party. He disclosed that Khan was not a favourite of Shaheed Benzir Bhutto and it was this reason that she did not award her the party ticket to contest the 2008 elections.

End.
