Shahid Khaqan-Qamar Bajwa arrived in Riyadh

The country's top civil and political leadership traveled to Riyadh on Monday where meetings of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition are underway.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Jawed Bajwa arrived in Riyadh a day after Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman hosted defence ministers from various nations for the formal launch of the Saudi-led military coalition against terrorism.
Conferences of the "41-nation pan-Islamic coalition" are underway in the Saudi capital. Pakistan's former army chief Gen Raheel Sharif joined the alliance as its top commander in April this year.
The agenda behind Pakistan's top leadership's trip to Riyadh remains unknown. Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif has accompanied the prime minister and the army chief on the trip to Riyadh.
