LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday refuted the possibility of PML-N's having talks with President Asif Ali Zardari over the upcoming Senate and general elections.

Talking to reporters upon his arrival from Turkey, the chief minister said there was no possibility of "any kind of negotiations with the president".

He accused the federal government of discriminating against Punjab in the supply of gas, and said the province would move the Supreme Court over the issue. He said Turkey had offered a Rs 1 billion aid to the Punjab government.

He said a metro bus service would soon be started in Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Multan with the help of a private Turkish bank.

End.
