Shah Mehmood met Donald Trump

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday met United States President Donald Trump at the United Nations headquarters in New York. According to details, the US president, who arrived to address the UN General Assembly met FM Qureshi at a reception at the UN headquarters.
Speaking about the meeting, the foreign minister said that Pakistan and the US agreed to rebuild bilateral relations.
“I met President Donald Trump at the reception where I had the opportunity to discuss Pak-US relations with him. I requested him that we have had cordial relations and need to rebuild them,” he said while speaking to a state-owned TV.
He added that he received a positive response from the US president. Furthermore, Qureshi said that he also met Mike Pompeo. This is their second meeting within a month after the US top diplomat visited Islamabad.
Both leaders would hold another meeting on October 2. Qureshi said that Pompeo also sent his greetings to Prime Minister Imran Khan.”Send my greetings to your leader,” Pompeo told Qureshi.
