Shabbir, Nayeem, Zafar placed under house arrest

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, the authorities placed the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leaders, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Zafar Akbar Butt under house arrest in their houses on Tuesday.The police took Shabbir Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan from the residence of Shah and put them under house arrest. Zafar Akbar Butt was confined to his house when he reached his residence after participating in the meeting.
The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom, headed by Shabbir Ahmed Shah, in a statement strongly denounced the action of the occupation authorities.
