Shabbaz Sharif met Nawaz Sharif in Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI: Many prominent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders, including President Shabbaz Sharif have reached Adiala Jail to meet party supremo Nawaz Sharif.

Former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal, ex-foreign minister Khawaja Asif, former information minister Marriyum Aurengzeb, former Sindh governor Mohammad Zubair, ex-defence minister Khurram Dastgir, and other leaders including Saira Afzal Tarar, Chaudhary Tanvir, Javed Hashmi and Pervaiz Rasheed are among the visitors to Adiala Jail today.

PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif’s son, Hamza Shahbaz is also present among the visitors. PML-N’s visit to Adiala Jail comes prior to the All Parties Conference scheduled today.

Adiala Jail authorities have allowed Nawaz, Maryam and Captain Safdar to meet their family and party workers today till 4 PM.

The Adiala Jail conference room has been allocated to the Sharif family for visitation purpose. Complete guidelines with regard to the visitations have been dispatched and the Jail’s gate no 5 is to serve as the entrance and exit gate for visitors. However, the police has strictly banned any media coverage and media persons have their vehicles parked quite a distance from the jail premise.
