Seven killed in Sukkur road accidents

SUKKUR: As many as seven people were killed and 20 others injured in different road mishaps here in Sukkur Region on Sunday. The sources said that at Jatti Road in the limits of Sajawal a passenger van collided with a motorcycle. The van overturned and fell into a ravine. Police and volunteers started a rescue operation and pulled out the victims of the vehicles who were later shifted to a local hospital. Two motorcyclists identified as Ghulam Mustafa and Tanuu were declared dead. Doctors said that 14 injured including four women and three children were being treated and their condition was out of dangerous. Separately on Moen-jo-Daro Road in Larkana, a tractor trolley overturned while negotiating a sharp turn. Three men Safiuddin, Bakhsh and Shoukat Jatoi were killed on the spot. In another incident on Khanpur link road in a collision of two motorcycles a man was killed while another man and a woman were injured. End.
