WANA: Security forces attacked militants training camp near Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan, killing 20 foreign miscreants.
Director General Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) Maj Gen Shuakat Sultan said that security forces attacked militants compound near Dattakhel village, about 35 kilometer away from Miranshah, on Saturday at 3:00 am.
He said that security forces earlier received secret information about the said militant camp near Pak-Afghan border.
Sultan went on to say that 4 gunship helicopters and artillery took part in the operation against the miscreants.
He said that as the security forces attacked the camp, explosive material in it started to explode, killing all the militants.
Sultan said that those killed in attack could not be identified yet because it was a rugged terrain.
He further said that these militants were allegedly involved in bids to attack security forces vehicles.
End.
