Scope versus subject... By Kabeer

Our youth is confused as to which subject to select for the rest of their lives: their subject of interest, or one in which he or she is not interested but is forced to study on the grounds of the 'scope' of that subject. Every field has its own scope but we have some fields with great scope and some with no scope. This is because we do not select the right person for the right position. A subject like political science has a lot of scope as it tells us how to govern a state.
However, in our country, a graduate of political science waits and watches while his job is given to a person who has not studied the subject. This results in the real lack of professionals we are faced with at the moment. I wish to elaborate that we must choose the right person to occupy the right place to encourage students in every field — only then we can raise the literacy rate and light up the darkness.
