SC issues interim order in Balochistan case

QUETTA: Supreme Court in its interim order, issued here Friday in Balochistan law and order case, said that the provincial government has failed constitutionally, our sources reported.
SC three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhamamd Chaudhary heard the Balochistan law and order case in the SC Registry here.
In the interim order, Supreme Court stated that Balochistan government has failed to halt human rights violation in the province.
The order further says kidnapping for ransom, targeting killing is continuing and mutilated bodies are found but it is yet to determine who is responsible. The provincial government has lost its capability to halt such incidents, stated the order.
The court further said in the interim order that there is involvement of secret agencies in the province.
The SC issued order to pass all the cases of target killing, missing persons and mutilated bodies to CID.
Only the FC is held responsible for missing persons, although the paramilitary force has lost the lives of its 432 personnel, it added.
