ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has approved the draft letter submitted before the apex court by Law Minister Farooq H. Naek this morning to be written to the Swiss Authorities in the NRO implementation case.

The draft letter contains that former attorney general Malik Qayyum letter should be treated as withdrawn. It further states that it should be considered that Malik Qayyum had never written such a letter.

The letter also mentions the immunity to the President.

Later talking to media in the Supreme Court premises‚ Law Minister Farooq H. Naek said that today is the day of the victory for justice‚ law and the democracy.

He said the sacrifices rendered by Benazir Bhutto Shaheed‚ President Asif Ali Zardari and other workers brought fruit to maintain the democracy.

The Law Minister dispelled the impression that some deal has been made in connection with the approval of the draft letter.

He said everything is transparent. He said we conveyed our reservations to the apex court and similarly the court expressed its reservations. Now all reservations have removed and everything is settled.

Farooq H. Naek said no question does arise of the trial of the President as no money has been plundered.

End.

First of all I personally would like to pass on good wishes to Law Minister F.H.Naek for his hard work, trustworthiness ,reliability and amicably resolving this burning issue being faced by the nation for the last good many years . Although ,It is an established fact that as per constitution President AAZ does enjoy the IMMUNITY being an elected President of Pakistan and no case can be re opened against President AAZ so long holding the high office of Presidency yet it is greatness on the part of Visionary leadership of AAZ who agreed to write letter against himself,I repeat, against himself to Swiss Authorities. A million dollar question, Did any mother gave birth to a son, who is so courageous, heroic to initiate an action against himself. No, none but it is HIS MAJESTY AAZ who recorded his unique action in the history of Pakistan. President AAZ for his brave step deserves to be awarded honor to this regard and I would recommend that ,”President Asif Ali Zardai be reelected as President of Pakistan from present sitting Parliament that include-NA,SENATE,PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLIES of all the Provinces.
