GARDEZ: A roadside bomb targeting police in the limits of Gardez, capital of Paktia province, killed one person and wounded three others today, an official said Monday.

The bomb went off in Gardezi area of the provincial capital when a police vehicle was passing from the area, Roohullah Samoon, spokesman for Paktia governor, told Afghan Islamic Press (AIP).

He said the bomb planted on a bicycle killed a civilian and wounded three others, adding the police did not suffer any damage.
