Roadside blast in Balochistan leaves 13 security personnel hurt

SIBI: At least 13 security personnel were wounded in a roadside bomb blast in Tali area of Balochistan's district Sibi, officials said on Monday.
According to sources, a Frontier Corps (FC) vehicle was on patrolling when it was hit by a roadside bomb near Tali.
As result, 13 FC personnel sustained injuries in the attack.
"Around 13 security personnel were injured in the attack and vehicle of the FC troops damaged in the attack", FC spoksman said in a statement.
After the incident the police, Balochistan Levies and FC personnel rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. They started a search for accused responsible for the blast.
The injured personnel were taken to the nearby hospital for treatment where some of the injured were reported in critical condition. No group had claimed the responsibility of the attack so far however Baloch rebel banned militant group "Balochistan Republic Army" has been involved in such attacks in past.
Same group has blown up three main gas pipelines in Rahim Yar Khan, district of south Punjab on Sunday night which suspended gas supplies to northern parts of the country.
Last week, "Balochistan Republic Army" claimed responsibility of railway track blast near Karachi which left dozens of passengers wounded.
