Responsive district judicial system... By Hashim

In a country like ours where crime, corruption, excesses and injustice have become a way of life, and where people take pride in committing crimes, the need to have a responsive and vibrant district judicial system becomes all the more important. As of today, inordinate delays, escalating cost of litigation and frequent strikes by the legal fraternity have made justice an unattainable goal.
I know young judicial officers who are willing to do their part. But who would motivate other stakeholders so that they also play their due role dutifully and efficiently to strengthen the belief of a common man in the legal system? I have read in history books that people used to consider judges only second to god. But our people are sinking in the deep sea of despair and despondency because of the very judges serving justice. Is there anyone in this country to motivate the main stakeholders of the legal and judicial system, i.e. the judges especially and the administrative staff to fulfil their role to save this country before it is too late?
