Rehman Malik again invites MQM to join Sindh govt

21 December, 2013

KARACHI: The PPP leader Senator Rehman Malik once again extended an invitation to former coalition partner MQM to join the Sindh government.

In a chat with media persons outside the Sindh Assembly here on Friday, Malik said PPP doesn't want to steal MQM's mandate.

"Both parties have set up separate three-member committees to hold discussion," he said.

He quoted President Asif Ali Zardari saying that MQM's mandate should be respected.

Admitting that two parties have developed some differences over the recent local government bill, he clarified that PPP doesn't want to bring his mayor in Karachi.
