ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has dismissed Tahirul Qadri's petition regarding the reconstitution of the Election Commission today, our sources reported.

During proceedings today, the Chief Justice remarked, that there are more than 100 registered political parties, 342 elected members of the National Assembly and many political parties that are not part of the assemblies, yet no one but Tahirul Qadri has any reservations over the Election Commission.

During proceedings today the Chief Justice had asked Qadri how his rights were being infringed upon, adding that he will have to prove the purity of his intentions since he has suddenly appeared on the national stage.

Dr. Qadri responded, that his dual nationality was being subjected to a media trial, and his loyalty was being brought into question. Tahirul Qadri then became personal and equated taking an oath from the Queen to one taken from former dictator Pervez Musharraf.

While Dr. Qadri's personal attack on the Supreme judiciary fell into ground for contempt charges being brought against him, the Supreme Court let him off with a warning.

Dr. Tahirul Qadri pleaded the court that he be allowed to cite different court rulings, to which the Chief Justice replied that before that the Doctor should argue his fundamental rights (that have been infringed upon).

The Chief Justice added, that the petition has been submitted in a personal capacity, and the petitioner is not eligible to contest elections, therefore he must prove his right to petition.

Qadri replied to the bench, that for three days he is being put on trial, by asking such questions that the constitution does not even allow to be asked – to which the Chief Justice remarked, that everyone who appears before the court is liable to be questioned.

End.

POLITICAL JOKER AND FAKE ,RELIGIOUS ACTIVIST MET HIS FATE he wants to run the affairs of state as he is runing his religious bussiness, this is the example the way
religious economy is generated and religious Monarchy works .further we r proud of Pro People Judiciary which is the only state institution in Pakistan committted to safeguard the interest of ordinary citizen.IT is pathetic that Attorney General of pakistan supported Qadri in SC during court proceeding which clearly reveals the support of ruling Party to the entire conspiracy hatchede by the establishment to derail democratic process by putting Qadri on the scene and extracting political work from the head of religious institution/NGO.

Rabbiya Bajwa,Advocate Supreme Court, Pakistan - 13 February, 2013

The Apex Court.
Whatever verdict has been given or not given in the case, against the Election Commission of Pakistan, ensued by Mr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is not our concern but what language and expression was demonstrated by the Apex court against the dual citizenship holders is quite questionable.
Respect of every single or dual citizenship holder is one of the basic human rights imbedded in every democratic constitution around the world including Pakistan.
However, the insulting remarks made by the Apex court against the Oversees Pakistanis' are an unconstitutional, undemocratic and unmoral stance not acceptable in any modern democratic state.
All Pakistanis' with single or dual nationality are loyal to Pakistan by any standard and it is their patriotic act that our national economy is saved through their annual remittances shooting up to 17 billion dollars each year.
