Rebels killed, captured: ISAF

KABUL: Several insurgents were killed and detained during joint operations by Afghan and foreign forces in different provinces, the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said on Wednesday.
Some fighters were killed during an operation to arrest a Taliban leader in northern Sar-i-Pul province, the alliance said, without giving a specific figure.
The security force seized assault rifles, a machine gun and several grenades.
