KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader and Punjab’s Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday retracted his statements, but also challenged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to self-evaluate itself.

Speaking at the show Aapas ki Baat, Sanalluah said that he wanted to bring it on record that he was taking back what he had said.

The law minister did, however, challenge the PTI to ponder over the remarks its own leaders made, and criticised the media for being biased against the PML-N.

PTI leader Naeemul Haque was also present at the show, and while addressing him, Sanaullah said, “These TV anchors are partial to you, and they make negative comments against us daily from 7pm till 11pm.”

“Why do they not take a few days to highlight the things they say about our families?”

The PTI spokesperson, in response, claimed that his party ‘strongly condemned’ such remarks, regardless of who generated them and whom they targeted.

Naeemul Haque also addressed the remarks PTI leader Amir Liaquat made against Kulsoom Nawaz and claimed that he would initiate an inquiry to look into the matter.
