Rain, snowfall forecast for next 24 hrs

ISLAMABAD: Met office has forecast rain and snowfall during next 24 hours in different parts of the country.

Rain is expected in Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while snowfall is forecast for Malakand, Hazara, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree and Galiyat.

Isolated rain is expected in Southern Punjab, upper Sindh and Northeast Balochistan during the next 24 hours.

A strong western disturbance is affecting most parts of the country and likely to persist for 2-3 days.

The snowfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Malamjabba 3.5 Feet, Kalam 02 Feet, Drosh 01 Feet, Dir 08 inch, Murree 07 inch, Chitral 06 inch and Skardu 05 inch.
