Rain in parts of Sindh, Balochistan

KARACHI: Weather turned pleasant and cold after rain in Karachi, Rahim Yar Khan, Hub and Bela on Saturday morning, our sources reported.

According to reports, rain on early Saturday morning turned weather cold in Rahim Yar Khan while the mercury also fell in Karachi city.

Hub and Bela areas of Balochistan province also received heavy downpour after which the temperature decreased, increasing cold in the province.

PPI adds: Pakistan Meteorological Department on Friday predicted more rain in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.

According to met office, Westerly wave is affecting most parts of the country and likely to persist for 2-3 days. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, scattered rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in most parts of the province during next 24 hrs.

In Sindh, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province, however isolated rain may occur in Sukkar and Larkana divisions during next 24 hrs.
