Quake jolts central Punjab

LAHORE: An earth quake jolted cities and towns of central Punjab on Thursday afternoon, met office said.
According to met office, earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale jolted Lahore and its adjacent areas. Its epicenter was 35-km deep in northern Indian state of Hamachal Perdesh. Tremors were also felt in Gujranwala and Kasur.
People of the affected areas came out of their houses in panic, however n loss of life or property was reported in the quake.
