FAISALABAD: Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran chief Tahirul Qadri has once again declared the Election Commission of Pakistan as unconstitutional and said that he would "destroy elections" if they became a barrier in the way of his revolution.
Addressing a public gathering on Sunday, Qadri said he wanted to restore the system in the country that was the dream of the founder of the country. The cleric said that during his sit-in in Islamabad he had signed a declaration with the government that will bring positive changes in the country. Qadri said the country has been thrown into dark and "he would bring light of revolution with the power of the people".
The TMQ chief has said that he will continue his struggle to safeguard the rights of the deprived segments of society. He said the voice of the poor people cannot be suppressed.
End.
