Punjab sets age limit for 9th class exam

Rawalpindi: The Punjab Board of Committee (PBC) chairman has banned the registration of children less than 13 years of age for class 9th examination and has stopped them from taking examination.

According to details, the PBC chairman has made mandatory the minimum age limit of 13 years for the 9th class examination for the year 2012-13.

Students with age less than the prescribed limit would not be considered eligible for registration and would be declared ineligible for 2012-13 exams. The rule would be implemented across the board in all educational boards of Punjab.
