Protest outside Avenfield apartments in UK
09 July, 2018
LONDON: Group of people protested outside the Avenfield apartments in UK and tried to break into the house of Hussain Nawaz. As Pakistan’s former prime minister Nawaz Sharif entered the house, protesting members of PTI, who were driven with fury and rage, tried to break into the flats: kicking at doors and throwing things around. A shopping cart was thrown at Ejaz Gull, a local leader belonging to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) by a furious protestor.
As the protest turned violent, security officials rushed to Avenfield to normalize the situation. The officials also searched the cars of prominent protestors to identify the group they belong to. Metropolitan authorities also stated that they have got the footage of the incident and will take action with regards to damage to property and assault.
