Prosperity not possible without eliminating terrorism: MQM

KARACHI: Members of the Central Coordination Committee of Muttahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Abdul Haseeb and Ashfaq Manghi have said peace, stability, prosperity and progress in the country is not possible without eliminating the menace of terrorism.

They said that for the stability and sovereignty of the country, it was essential to get rid of social evils such as selfishness, vested interests and self-deception and quickly devise a mutual and concrete strategy to combat terrorism.

They expressed these views in their addresses during corner meetings held under the aegis of MQM Karachi Outskirts Organising Committee in Mokhi Gadap sector, Noorani Basti Chakra Goth, Ibrahim Hyderi Goth sector, Bapra village Golimar sector, Shanti Nagar Sachal Sector.

While addressing corner meetings the members of the Central Coordination Committee said that Altaf Hussain was the only leader in the country who raised his voice against terrorism.

They claimed the MQM chief was a patriotic leader, who cannot be silent about any criminal and subversive activities in the country, and that is why so called religious and political parties criticised him and showed their poisonous hypocrisy against him. They advised the participants of the corner meetings to keep a vigilant eye on the critical situation of the country, and keep them abreast with current affairs.

MPAs Heer Soho, Abdullah Shaikh, Shiraz Waheed, former MPA and member of Balochistan Tanzeemi Committee Farida Baloch, In Charge Karachi Mozafati Committee Farukh Azam, Joint In Charges Aslam Baloch, Salim Jokhio and other members were also present.
