KARACHI: Mohsin-e-Pakistan Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan graced the reception hosted in his honour the other day by the leading industrialist Ishtiaq Baig and President Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan at his place.

The host who is also Honorary Consul General of Morocco lauded the contribution of Dr AQ Khan for Pakistan and said that at the time when the political parties are looking for consensus candidate for caretaker setup, Dr AQ Khan who enjoys undoubted respect and regards of the nation being the saver of Pakistan can be the best choice for the caretaker prime minister (PM). He expects that all the political parties will have the consensus on Mohsin-e-Pakistan.

Dr AQ Khan in his address acknowledged that the nation is going through critical time and fair and transparent election is the need of the hour. He assured to support honest and credible people through his Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan in the parliament for good governance in the forthcoming election.

Leaders of the business community Tariq Sayeed and SM Muneer supported Dr AQ Khan and assured business community full support to Mohsin-e-Pakistan in this movement.

Prominent religious scholar Mufti Naeem also pledged the support to Dr AQ Khan from the religious parties.

Other prominent personalities who attended the reception included Sardar Yasin Malik, Mian Zahid Hussain, Salahuddin Haider, Test cricketer Saleem Yousuf, Akhtarul Islam, Babar Tajammul, Faisal Zahid Malik, Yahya Polani and a large number of people from different walk of the society.
