Prices of POL, CNG increased

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification regarding the increase in prices of CNG and other petroleum products, which went effective from 12am.

According to a notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 1.41 per litre, while the price of high octane saw a massive hike of Rs 5.64 per litre.

Similarly, the price of kerosene oil has been increased by Rs 1.94 and light diesel by Rs 1.62 per litre. The price of high-speed diesel has not been changed.

The new prices of petroleum products are: petrol Rs 85.90 per litre, high octane Rs 112.52 per litre, kerosene oil Rs 88.19 per litre and light diesel Rs 85.33 per litre.

The order also notifies the increase in price of CNG. For Sindh and Punjab regions, the new price of the gas has been set at Rs 71.92 per kilogramme, with an increase of Rs 1.29. For Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Potohar regions, the price of CNG has been set at Rs 78.65 per kg.
