Population bomb... By Sohail

According to an estimate of 2011, Pakistan's population was touching the 180 million mark with numbers swelling every day. This does not bode well for a country running low on resources — the most vital and scarce one being electricity — and mismanaged from head to toe.
Due to the prevailing poverty, rural families, who cannot afford education and economic well being, have many children so that they can become economic agents; such families can have as many as 10 mouths to feed. With this kind of population bulge, can anyone even begin to imagine the kind of strain this will have on essentials such as water and food? The government has to promote family planning and, if necessary, develop laws that will limit the number of children people can have here.
